Games. They are a way to have fun, and enjoy with friends and family. They make you feel victorious, rage, and depression. A lot of board games require unfolding a cardboard surface and passing things out. In this article, I will be ranking all your favorite games. Starting now!
- Candyland
Seriously? A board game that involves you moving around a map to get to the goal. Like a lot of games. At least you don’t use dice but you draw cards instead with colors on them to move. An original idea! C tier.
2. Chutes and Ladders
This game probably makes you rage a lot. Right as you get to square 100, you slide down a chute to square 1. But aside from that, I guess it is kind of fun (mostly because you watch your opponent screaming). This game is in E tier.
3. Monopoly
I don’t know. I’m bad at this game and I rarely play it. At least it also uses an original idea. This game is in C tier.
4. Uno
Super fun and family friendly. It’s one of my most favorite card games. It has a bunch of different types of cards and it’s easy to start playing, such as on a road trip. This is definitely S tier.
5. Sorry
Sorry I haven’t ever played this before. I have no idea how it works so I’ll judge it based on its rules. D tier.
6. Cluedo
I suck at this game and it’s hard to play. It requires a lot of work and pieces and it feels like a toddler made it. F tier.
7. Catan
This game is super fun. I’m really good at it and I usually win. It’s such a unique board game and I recommend you try it. You have to gather materials and get points for building cities. S tier.
8. Scrabble
Another game that’s really fun. I even learn new words from it. The special squares get you excited because of the points you get. This game is in A tier.
9. Chess
This game is so-so. It takes long to play because of the time spent thinking where to move. But at least it’s not as bad as the next game. B tier.
10. Checkers
Chess but a lower skill version. It’s also super annoying when your pieces sometimes get stuck at the wall. D tier.
11. Mahjong
Very fun but takes too long to set up. It’s a Chinese game. A tier.
12. Cards
Basically there are infinite possibilities with a deck of cards. You can play games such as War, Trash, Speed, etc. Just the design is a bit boring, so it’s a B tier game.
13. What Do You Meme (WDYM)
Simple game. Best description wins the card. Too plain though. B tier.
14. Skyjo
Fun and based mostly on luck and barely on skill. I like it a lot and it’s easy to set up so it’s in A tier.
15. Battleship
This has been an OG game for me. I haven’t played it for two years though. I like it well enough, so it’s in A tier.
16. Connect Four
Kind of lame honestly. F tier.
17. Jenga
I find this game a bit pointless. At least it teaches you to not be clumsy. E tier.
18. The Game of Life
I haven’t played it, but it sounds kind of fun? C tier.
19. Exploding Kittens
I love this game. I heard they made a movie out of it too. This is easily S tier.
20. Operation
This game is so annoying. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT! Definitely F tier.
Anyways, those are the twenty board games I ranked. I will present to you the final tier list.
Final Tier List
S| Uno | Catan | Exploding Kittens
——————————————————————
A| Scrabble | Mahjong | Battleship | Skyjo
——————————————————————
B| Chess | Cards | WDYM
——————————————————————
C| Candyland | Monopoly | The Game of Life
——————————————————————
D| Sorry | Checkers |
——————————————————————
E| Chutes & Ladders | Jenga
——————————————————————
F| Cluedo | Operation
*And if you don’t know how a tier list works, S is the highest, followed by A, then B, and so on. F is the bottom though.
