Gen Alpha – Social Life Guide

We all know about video games- Roblox, Fornite and games like that. And as a Generation Alpha, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to avoid them. They shorten attention spans and disrupt conversation skills. I will tell you my story, what happened, and give you my perspective. These are all my opinions, so please no hate comments.

Roblox Guide

Almost all my friends play it and they usually babble about it a lot. That made me feel excluded because I didn’t have the game. I asked my parents for the game, but used it irresponsibly. It got taken away from me and I never saw the home screen again. I was very sad about it, but my parents taught me things and it made me proud I left it.

When I went to school, it was hard telling them that I didn’t have Roblox. If you, the reader relate to this, DON’T GET YOUR CHILD ROBLOX. Now, it’s up to you but I really recommend not. I bet your kid will come running up to you asking, “Can I have Roblox? Please? All my friends are playing it I and want to stay connected with them!” It’s better if they don’t get it because then their friends will turn into zombies of the digital world and your kid won’t!

There are inappropriate games on there such as “Public Bathroom Simulator” and don’t even get me started on “Brookhaven”. Even with the restricted age limit, your child can still have access to those games. Instead of giving them Roblox, give them one hour screen time one weekdays and two hours on weekends. Because there will be no Roblox, they will go onto other games. But give them a Nintendo with the game Minecraft.

This blog isn’t at all on Minecraft and you can read my other article about it, but I just want to advise you. Minecraft is like Roblox but more moderated, less weird and more creative. It has endless possibilities, and it’s more healthy for your child. I’m not your consultant, do what you want to do. I’m just warning you…

Fortnite Guide

I’ve never played Fortnite before, but I have an idea of what you should do. If your kid is less than thirteen, don’t get them Fortnite. They will be exposed to harmful violence on it and it’s better to wait until when they’re more mature.

One of my friends plays it and his dad is in the military, so I don’t even know what’s going on in his brain. He says things like, “If you hit me, I’ll get my dad to hunt you down and snipe you.” I know he can’t be for real but that is a bit concerning.

Another example is this one boy that is so annoying. He also grinds on Fortnite and I asked him if he would shoot people during an argument. Guess what he said. “I would maybe, in America.” That is really wrong and he should not be saying those things.

Just wait until your kids get older so they can tolerate it better. Same goes for other shooter games like Call of Duty.

Conclusion

Anyways, here’s all my advice in a summary.

1. Don’t get your child any violent shooter games if under recommended age limit

2.  Don’t get Roblox for your kid

3. Don’t get any questionable games (such as High on Life)

So that’s it for this article. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment on this blog. I will try to respond. Thanks for reading and have a good day!

Ranking of Chips

Everyone has probably eaten one of those light brownish round things before. Today, I’m going to make a tier list of chip brands. I’m writing this just to share my opinions, and you may have different preferences than me and that’s okay. I will be ranking these counting down from #5 to #1. Anyways, let’s get into it.

5. Lays

For me, Lays is my low standard for chips. It kind of feels like it has no flavor. I do like their Bugles, but their regular chips don’t really appeal to me. There are a lot of them sitting lonely in my pantry, collecting dust. Even in my lunch at school, I don’t eat them often. I would say this is 5th place.

4. Doritos

If you gave me a choice between Doritos and Lays, I would obviously choose Doritos. Their chips are crunchy and have a good amount of taste. My favorite kind of them is probably Nacho Cheese. They have an iconic triangle shape for a potato chip. I also favor their logo. It just looks cool. 4th place for me.

3. Cheetos

I don’t have these really often. Especially since we live in Europe. There are a lot in a bag because they’re thin so that’s good. They have a distinct color and I like the mascot. I would say 3rd place.

2. Sun Chips

Some of you may not know these chips, but you can recognize them by their wavy pattern. They taste so good! It’s becoming a bit harder to find them these days though. I haven’t had one in like years. I would love to have one again. I will put this brand probably 2nd place.

1. Pringles

They are just beautiful. They have the most immense flavor of all and they just look appetizing. They are my most favorite chip brand of all! They are so amazing that I can’t even write a whole description for it. It’s in first place!

So that’s it for this article. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment on this blog. I will try to respond. Thanks for reading and have a good day!
